Montefiore Einstein is a leader in Orthopedics and Wakefield Hospital is home to several important physical rehabilitation practices, both in-patient and out-patient. In May 2023 Montefiore has announced a partnership with Kuwait to exclusively provide orthopedic surgeries and rehabilitation medicine services to Kuwaiti children and adults in need of sophisticated musculoskeletal care, including but not limited to, knee and hip replacements, osteosarcomas, spine surgeries and complicated elongation procedures.

Montefiore has upgraded four patient suites and renovated a family lounge at its Magnet® designated Wakefield Hospital, a location which is recognized by the American Nursing Credentialing Center for nursing excellence and high-quality patient care. The new spaces have been meticulously designed to suit the unique customs and culture of the middle eastern residents.

In these rooms, local artists Deborah Weiss and Jane Coopers’ work adorns the walls, beautifully impacting and elevating the space for patients.
