Mastering the Art of Light & Compositions

Pablo D Castillo, Jr., Photographer

The images in this practice focus on ‘light’ and ‘composition’. I capture the effects of light on architectural landmarks and oddities during my photographic sessions.  Whether it be skyscrapers, bridges, highways or rivers, light plays a unique role during the cycle of day and night.  Working with light to conjure magical moments, my photography captures my imagination/creativity and brings it to life.

I am beyond grateful for this opportunity to showcase my work with Burke Rehabilitation Hospital. What first started as a hobby has now become the next step of living my dreams in becoming a fulltime photographer. It is an incredible positive feeling to showcase my perspective of NYC and the Bronx. The Bronx is unfortunately known as the most underrated borough of NYC. Being able to showcase the beauty and unique views that the Bronx has to offer will change the way people view this borough.
